Our journey to Pasta A La Mode started a few years ago when my husband, “The Chef” and I, “The Management” joined forces to open our own restaurant. As time passed and the world changed our plans had to change with it, but some critical components remained steadfast in the birth of our brainchild, reinvented.
Our love for fresh, handmade pasta and an inability to find it locally.
Our respect for the Sacramento area food scene, its devotion to highlighting fresh local ingredients and increasing evolution and expansion.
Our desire to expand our reach to surrounding areas that want what to experience what Sacramento restaurants are doing but don’t want to travel.
Our ability to adapt to the current climate where the health crisis is a direct threat to the sustainability of restaurants and dining out.
Our awareness of the cultural demand for convenience and affordability when it comes to meals.
After tossing around several ideas for the best mode to execute our food and vision that would fulfill all these components, the concept of the food truck was born. Pasta A La Mode: fresh pasta fusion for whatever mode you’re in!
